Kansas City, MO — The 18th & Vine Arts Festival Foundation is proud to announce the return
of its annual celebration of Black art, culture, and creativity with the 2025 18th & Vine Arts
Festival, taking place September 26–28 in the heart of Kansas City’s historic 18th & Vine
District.
With this year’s theme, “A Renaissance on Vine: Celebrating Black Film, Television &
Dandyism,” the festival will pay tribute to the storytelling, fashion, legacy, and innovation of
Black cinematic culture across generations.
Festival Schedule:
Friday, September 26 | 5 PM – 10 PM
Opening Night: Local Black Film Showcase + Fashion Show
Saturday, September 27 | 10 AM – 10 PM
Main Festival Day featuring “Live on the Vine” Music Competition, Visual Arts Exhibits, Food
Trucks, and Cultural Vendors
Sunday, September 28 | 10 AM – 5 PM
Soulful Sunday + Culinary Arts Exhibition + Community Marketplace
All Weekend: "Meet Me in the Middle" interactive arts zone installations, Visual Arts Exhibits,
celebrating the spirit and the heritage of 18th & Vine.
