Kauffman Foundation’s Capacity Building Grants Position Nonprofits for Deeper Impact

The Kansas City Globe e-Edition

The application window for the Capacity Building grants has reopened. These grants enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of nonprofit organizations, enabling them to better achieve their missions and maximize their impact to close economic gaps in the Kansas City region.

Capacity Building grants were developed in response to community input, which clearly articulated the need for flexible and near-term funding that enables organizations to be even better positioned for deeper impact in the long term.

For those interested in learning more about Capacity Building grants, the Foundation will host the following:

  • Kauffman Conversation Webinar – 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., March 4

  • Virtual office hour – 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., April 1 on Zoom

Attendees will join with the nonprofit community to hear directly from, and be able to ask questions directly to, Foundation leadership about the application process.
