‘Bats, Balls and Pols’ Softball Game Will Raise Money for NLBM

BATS, BALLS & POLS - A tradition started by Alderman Jim Pendergast back in the 1890s that involves a softball game between Jackson County and the City of KCMO will be held Sunday, July 17 at the MLB Urban Youth Academy located at Truman Road and Paseo starting at 2 p.m. This game (softball) will raise $15,000 to $20,000 for the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
