Don’t take my word, just wake up, watch and listen. Senator Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s pick for vice president, is going to pay a high price for being selected to serve as the first woman of color on a major party ticket. Expect a barrage of attacks and assaults on her background and character despite an impressive resume infused with relevant and worthwhile professional experiences. Don’t be surprised to hear that she is called— during the span of a ruthless presidential campaign season—-everything but “a Child of God.” The crusade to sabotage her credentials as a worthy candidate has already begun.
