Former KCMO Mayor Richard Berkley Dies

Lucas, Cleaver, Others Praise ‘Iconic Leader’ Richard L. Berkley, who served three terms as mayor of Kansas City, Mo., has died at the age of 92 it was announced Wednesday. Berkley served as mayor from 1979 to 1991.
KCMO Mayor Quinton Lucas on Tuesday evening spent time “with some of the busiest folks in town—Donna Kelce and Tammy Reid” as they launched another season of Giving Machines at Union Station. “Stop by one of many in town to support great causes in Kansas City and surrounds,” Lucas urged on his post @QuintonLucasKC.
