Voters, Candidates Get Ready for Aug. 4 Primary

Kansas City Election officials are yet to announce trending early voting estimates as traditional voters prepare for next week’s August 4 Primary.

Voters will have to declare party affiliation before they are given a ballot, choosing Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, Green or Constitution; and will not be able to vote for a candidate for party on another ballot.

Or, a voter may request an issues only (Non-Partisan) ballot. The political parties and their candidates are as follows.
