Trial for Jason Cook in Murder of Cameron Douglas Underway

Following mounting pressure from family members and local civil rights organizations, the jury trial for Jason Cook, 21, who was charged with murdering Cameron Douglas, 23, at his apartment complex in January 2019, finally began Monday, October 18.
Investigators have said video surveillance led them to Cook. Also, shell casings from Cook’s gun reportedly matched a gun found at his home.
