Friday, June 4 (tomorrow) the Kansas City Southern Christian Leadership Conference will march and protest against the continued racism and police brutality afflicted upon Kansas Citians by the Kansas City Police Department. The march and rally will begin at 6 p.m. at 12th & Oak in downtown Kansas City, Mo. Rev. Dr. Vernon Howard, SCLC-GKC president said, “Join us as we stand in a nonviolent direct action protest with victims of police brutality and Friday Night Protest leaders. We continue our years long fight for justice, "real" reform, the dismissal of the Chief of Police, and an end to the killing of unarmed Black men in Kansas City.
