Supporters of Mark Sharp, a State Representative candidate seeking reelection to Missouri’s 36th District in the August 4 primary election, have swarmed to his defense with indignation, disgust and incense following a bogus Twitter post attacking his reputation and character.
The candidate and others have linked the attack to a person or persons associ- Rep. Mark Sharp’s Supporters Incensed Over ‘Bogus’ Attack ated with the campaign of his Democratic Primary opponent, Laura Loyacono, who has denied responsibility for the social media posting. Sharp said the post was only up for a couple of days but then was taken down, but not before it was “tagged” to area news media and dozens of elected officials and private citizens.
