Longtime KSHB 41 anchor Cynthia Newsome passed away recently, leaving an indelible mark on the news media industry and the Kansas City community. She transitioned on Tuesday following a courageous breast cancer battle. Newsome had a combined 41-year journalism career, working in both radio and television.
