KC’s Fastest Growing Holiday Tradition Presents the Soul of Santa Christmas Album

The Kansas City Globe e-Edition

On Friday, November 3, the Soul of Santa “Do Good” Foundation will release the first ever soundtrack
for a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The SOUL OF SANTA CHRISTMAS ALBUM will feature 12 songs
all by Kansas City artists.

The compilation album executive produced by Shawn Edwards and curated by the foundation’s CEO
Tucker Lott pays tribute to Kansas City's jazz heritage while also incorporating the sounds of Kansas
City's Hip-Hop community and showcasing the city's wealth of R&B talent with a mix of original music and covers of timeless holiday classics.

The album was inspired by Lott’s late daughter Aria Lott, who lived with epilepsy. One of Aria’s dreams
was to become a professional singer. She has six songs on the album compilation including “Fingers in
the Snow” and “Diversity.” All six songs were produced by GRAMMY nominated producer Jo Blaq.
The album also features gospel legend Andréa Tribitt and jazz singer Paula Saunders. Newcomers Roblo
da Star and The Royal Chief represent Hip-Hop along with veteran rapper XTA-C best known for his hit
song “Mr. So Heavy.”

There will be an album listening party ahead of the release of the SOUL OF SANTA CHRISTMAS ALBUM
on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and YouTube. Artists appearing on the SOUL OF SANTA CHRISTMAS ALBUM compilation will perform their songs at the Soul of Santa’s CHRISTMAS KARAOKE event on
Thursday, November 2nd at the Blue Room in the Historic 18th and Vine Jazz District.

The Christmas tree lighting ceremonies will take place on Friday, December 1 at the 18th and Vine
Historic Jazz District and on Friday, December 8th at the Shops of Blue Parkway. The events are a benefit
for The Soul of Santa “Do Good” Foundation, which primarily connects highly-functioning individuals
with disabilities with resources such as holistic workforce development plans, food, transportation,
clothing and financial literacy.

“The Soul of Santa ‘Do Good’ Foundation seeks to create a world where no one ever feels forgotten or
overlooked due to their disability,” says Lott, president and founder of Tucker Lott Cards, LLC and the
founder and creator of The Soul of Santa Brand. “It is our soul brand purpose for each and every person
to feel love, joy and acceptance.”

“The Soul of Santa symbolizes the privilege each and every one of us has to celebrate Christmas in a
manner that reflects our heritage and our belief in the spirit of the holiday known as Christmas, and all
that it represents,” states Lott.
