KCK Pastors Unite to Lead Faith Peaceful Protest against Racism

A broad-based coalition of churches in Kansas City, Kan. on Friday, July 10 fron 4 pm. – 6 p.m will march along Parallel Parkway to the Legends Shopping District in what is being called a Faith Peaceful Protest. Participating churches have met and planned an event that will consist of churches aligning Parallel holding signs that such as, United Against Racism, We Protest…We Vote, My Life Matters, I Can’t Breathe!, No Justice No Peace, We Stand Together! And Time for Change!

Various locations have been designated for onsite voter registration. In case of inclement weather, organizers say the protest will be postponed until Friday, July 17. Organizers are encouraging prayer at each location continuously during the two hour period. Social distancing is required and all participants are required to wear masks.
