Gwendolyn Grant, president and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Kansas City, on Monday filed a motion seeking as an individual to be included with Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Quinton Lucas and other city leaders in a lawsuit filed against them by the Board of Police Commissioners. Her actions were done independent of the civil rights organization she represents but argues “on behalf of all Kansas City taxpayers.”
