Over 100 Receive Pfizer Vaccine, Health Screenings at UMKC’s OHKCE Event at PGMBC

People waited patiently to get a vaccine and/or health screening.

In addition to vaccines, attendees received a variety of screenings including blood pressure, diabetes, dental and mental health.

Over 100 people turned out last Sunday, September 12 , from noon until 3 p.m. as Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church located on the city’s eastside at 2910 E. 30th Street in the historic Santa Fe Neighborhood, hosted the first of two of its COVID-19 vaccination clinics in conjunction with UMKC’s “Our Healthy Kansas City Eastside Project (OHKCE).”
