As the Kansas City Chiefs headed into Super Bowl LVIII weekend in Las Vegas to meet the San Francisco 49ers, they were considered the “underdogs” according to many sports pundits. But once again the Chiefs, who got off to a slow start in the season and during the first half of Sunday’s game at Allegiant Stadum in  Las Vegas, came from behind in the second half to defeat the 49ers 25-22 in overtime. With only seconds left, a Mahomes’ throw to Mecole Hardman resulted in the game-winning touchdown. It was a historic victory for the Chiefs franchise and the third Super Bowl team victory with Coach Andy Reid at the helm and QB Patrick Mahomes leading the team. The Chiefs are the first team in 20 years to win back-to-back Super Bowl titles. Mahomes was named MVP for the third time.
